		<description>The GWI Water Index shows how water stocks have moved on the global markets each month. It is based on the share price movements of water related stocks from around the world, weighted according to the market capitalisation and their exposure to the water sector. The GWI Global Water Index was fixed at 100 on 1st January 2008. Besides the GWI Global Water Index, we also track European, American and Asia Pacific water stocks in separate regional indices. The table below lists the stocks in each index together with their weighting in both the regional and global indices
